The application's basic function is to reduce the time of calling for help in case of a threat to its user's health or life.
The emergency call is simultaneous with storage of useful data for all kind of security services, such as: police, fire brigades or public prosecutions.
The Internet access enables to send the mobile phone's GPS localisation, recorded sounds and the surroundings pictures to the external server.
Thus makes the security services get the key information easier and increases the rapidity of its action.
Morover, it will influence directly on the efficacity of the most fundamental function of emergencies which is to ensure the citizen's safety.
The application was conceived so that in case of emergency the user could inform about it efficiently by the fewest possible steps and give a sign to different entities and to the person previously defined at once.
From technological point of view, it is innovative for its specific, additional modes of switching on the alarm.
Apart from pressing a big and visible button or widget, it is possible to easily configurate it to be triggered by: shock/fall, headphones disconnection from a blocked mobile, multiple « power » button and using the external device HTC Fetch button.
All data generated during the alarm could serve, for example, to a search for a missing person or as a proof in a police and judicial proceedings.
